Who We Are
Polio Outreach of Washington is a registered charitable non-profit, all volunteer organization that provides information and education for polio survivors, those experiencing the late effects of having had Polio and their families.
We also provide:
- Contacts and resources to promote quality of life while living with disabilities and other lifestyle challenges.
- Support groups in communities around the state that provide an opportunity for education, friendship, and an exchange of information on life-style adaptation, assistive equipment, accessible travel and entertainment possibilities.
- Information packet about Post Polio Syndrome and it's management.

- List of medical care providers familiar with PPS, which has been compiled by polio survivors.
- Lending library of videos and printed material about PPS.
